Thanks Chris! I think as of now Google has turned back the dial enough to keep the abusers at bay. I’ve noticed several times where my various experimental schema has stopped appearing as much in search results.

I’ve started implementing more schema markup into my client sites, but I’ve seen where it’s being abused by some people who are providing schema markup for fake reviews/star ratings and that sort of thing, so Google is being more aware of who it provides schema rich snippets for. I think there will be some crossover eventually between the impending Author Rank/Authority and who gets the rich snippet, schema markup or not. Again, nice breakdown.
